Christine Wickson

Christine is a Master’s educated Family Nurse Practitioner in the province of Ontario. She has been licensed with the College of Nurses, first as an RN in 1997 and then as an NP in 2005. She has extensive critical care nursing experience along with certifications in the ICU and CCU. Christine has worked in primary care since 2005 specializing in mental health, rheumatology and dermatology care. She has completed cognitive behavioural training (CBT) for medical professionals. Christine has taught in the practical nursing and nursing programs at McMaster University, Ryerson and Humber College. As well, she has mentored and supported nurse practitioner students in their clinical rotations in their Master’s programs. Christine was nominated for a teaching award at McMaster University her first year of clinical teaching. She also has specialized training in cosmetic injectables and teaching of these advanced skills to nurses and doctors. She in an independent and incorporated nurse practitioner and serves as a medical director to nurses who practice in cosmetic injectables. Christine Wickson has been on the forefront of telemedicine and business practice for nurses in Ontario since 2012.
