Dr. Ashraf Badawi

Laser Cosmetic Specialist

Dr. Ashraf Badawi is currently an Associate Professor of dermatology at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences, Cairo University, Egypt and a visiting professor of Dermatology at Szeged University, Hungary. In 1992, Dr. Badawi graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Cairo University, Egypt. In 1997, he obtained the MSc degree in dermatology and venereology followed by a diploma in the laser applications in biology and medicine in 1998 from Cairo University. In 2001, Dr. Badawi obtained a diploma in general surgery from the faculty of medicine, Cairo University. In 2007, Dr. Badawi received his first PhD in laser applications in dermatology from the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences, Cairo University, Egypt. In 2011, Dr. Badawi obtained a second PhD in clinical medical sciences from Szeged University, Hungary. During his career, Dr. Badawi has actively participated in more than 200 International dermatology conferences with lectures and workshops. Within the past 15 years, he has been directly involved in training more than 2500 dermatologists all over the world for laser applications in dermatology. Lydia Gauthier has been passionate about skin and cosmetics since her experience as a cosmetician when she was 18 years old. That is when she decided she would dedicate her life to understanding the ingredients list on cosmetics packaging!
After eight years and a Bachelor's degree in bio-organic and medical chemistry, a Master's degree in tissue engineering (on psoriasis) and a second Master's degree in industrial cosmetology in France, in the number one program in the world, she finally reached her goal and became a dermopharmacist in France and a dermocosmetologist in Canada. Her mantra: your skin is the only clothing you'll wear your whole life!

Dr. Abdel Hadi

Cosmetic Gynecology Consultant

Dr. Abdel Hadi is a gynecologist with special interest in cosmetic gynecology. Dr. Hadi went to medical school in Cairo, Egypt. In Canada he finished an obstetrics and gynecology residency in University of Toronto before obtaining a fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2008. In 2010 he was awarded a Master’s degree in health sciences from University of Toronto. Dr. Abdel Hadi is an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Department of Family Medicine in Queen’s University. Dr. Abdel Hadi performs a wide variety of cosmetic gynecologic procedures. These include surgical and non surgical options. He is now recognized as one of the few consultants in the field in Canada.
